Grounding yoga mats

Want to ground during yoga, stretching or meditation? A grounding yoga mat gives you a surface to practise on and make contact through bare skin. Explore the Earthle mat and what to consider when choosing a place to use it.

A 183 × 61 cm mat

The mat is 183 cm long, 61 cm wide and 5 mm thick. It is made from TPE with a non-slip surface. Check that the dimensions suit your height and exercises. Leave room around the mat for movement and for the cable.

Contact through bare hands or feet

Bare skin must touch the connected mat to make the connection, for example through your hands or feet. Clothing or another mat between you and the surface can interrupt this contact. Follow the supplied instructions for connection and use.

What does your practice space need?

The yoga mat includes a carry bag and a 4.6-metre grounding cable with a plug. Indoors, you need a suitable grounded socket. For a direct connection through soil, see the grounding rod and its instructions. If you want a mat for your desk or bed, compare the other grounding mats.

There is never any current on your product

The cable goes only to the earth connection of the outlet, never to the live wire. The plug also contains a 100k ohm resistor, so no current can ever run through the product.

No grounded outlet in the room? Then clamp the cable onto a radiator pipe, or push the earthing pin into the ground outside.
