Earthle Earthing Pin

The earthing pin takes the earth straight from the ground, without a socket. It works with all your Earthle products. Below you will find how to place it and connect it.

Connected in five steps

1. Take the earthing pin out of the packaging. The fifteen metre cable is attached to it.

   

2. Push the pin into the ground outside: in the garden, a plant pot or a balcony planter with soil. It is stainless steel, so it can stay there. Rain and frost do it no harm.

   

3. Bring the cable indoors. It is only two millimetres thick, so it fits under a window, through a door or through a gap. No drilling needed.

   

4. Pull the end of the earthing cable out of the plug of your Earthle product. You do not need that plug now.

   

5. Push the pin of that cable into the connector at the end of the pin cable. Then click the cable onto your sheet, mat or cover.

   

Thirty to forty minutes a day with your earthing product is enough. One night of sleep goes well past that, and more does no harm.

Good to know

Fifteen metres is more than it sounds. From the garden it reaches a bedroom on the first floor. Run the cable along the skirting board or behind a cupboard; it hardly shows.

No garden or balcony? Then the alligator clip is the alternative. You fit it to an unpainted heating pipe or radiator, which are connected to the earth through the installation. Handy on an upper floor or in a flat.

Two products on one pin. With the splitter you connect a sheet and a pillowcase, for example, to the same pin at once.

Not sure the connection is good? Measure with a multimeter between the pin and the earth contact of a socket indoors. A low resistance means you are right.
