Grounding cables and connections
Explore Grounding cables and connections. Compare the matching Earthle products below and read practical advice on choosing and using them.
Cables and connections
Everything you need to connect your product, even without an earthed socket in the room. From an extension cable to the pin you push into the ground outside.
Another connection or more reach?
The plug with a 4.6-metre cable is an extra or replacement connection. The 15-metre extension adds reach to an existing connection. Choose according to what is missing: a complete plug and cable or extra cable length. An extension cannot turn an unearthed socket into an earthed one.
Choose a suitable connection
Check what is already included with your product. The separate plug and cable has a 4.6-metre cable; the 15-metre extension cable adds reach. A splitter lets you connect two products to one suitable connection. Check compatibility and follow your product's instructions.
Earthing without a grounded outlet
The Earthle grounding rod has a 15-metre cable and is placed in the ground outdoors. Consider the route outside before choosing it. An alligator clip is also available. Read its specific instructions and check that the connection point is actually grounded: a metal pipe is not automatically a suitable earth connection.

Not sure which size you need?
A few short questions and you will know which product and which size suit your situation.
Earthing explained in a minute and a half
What earthing is, how you connect a product and why no current runs through it.

There is never any current on your product
The cable goes only to the earth connection of the outlet, never to the live wire. The plug also contains a 100k ohm resistor, so no current can ever run through the product.
No grounded outlet in the room? Then clamp the cable onto a radiator pipe, or push the earthing pin into the ground outside.
