Earthle Earthing Plug + Cable
Connecting, using and washing. Sorted in a couple of minutes.
The plug with cable is the link between your earthing product and the earth. Every Earthle product already comes with one in the box; this one is meant as a spare or if you need a second. It fits all Earthle products.
Connected in three steps
-
Take the plug with cable out of the packaging. One end has a press stud, the other the plug.
-
Click the press stud onto your sheet, fitted sheet, duvet cover, blanket, sleeping mat, desk mat or yoga mat. You will feel it lock into place.
-
Put the plug into an earthed socket. This works on earthed sockets across Europe.
Thirty to forty minutes a day with your earthing product is enough. One night of sleep goes well past that, and more does no harm.
Why this is safe
The plug uses only the earth contact of the socket. The live wire is not touched, so no current can run through your sheet or your mat.
There is also a 100,000 ohm resistor inside the plug, between the earth contact and your product. It is there in case a socket was ever wired incorrectly.
Good to know
The cable is 4.6 metres. Enough to reach from your bed to a socket on the wall. If the socket is a room away, the fifteen metre extension cable covers that distance.
Two products on one plug. With the splitter you connect two at once.
No earthed socket?
An earthed socket has metal pins at the top and bottom as well as the two holes. If you cannot see those, the socket is not earthed.
If there is none in the house, you use the earthing pin in the garden or the alligator clip on an unpainted heating pipe. Both are explained in earthing without an earthed socket.
