Sharing one grounding sheet: how it works for two people

One connected grounding sheet can contact two sleepers at the same time when both touch the conductive surface. The right width and placement make the difference.

For co-sleeping you do not automatically need two cables or two separate products. A connected sheet forms one conductive surface. As long as both people touch the silver thread, both make contact with the earth through the same sheet.

Choose the size based on coverage

The large Earthle Earthing Sheet measuring 203 by 180 centimetres covers a wide part of a double mattress. This allows two people to lie with their torso or legs on the same conductive zone. The narrow model of 203 by 99 centimetres can be placed across the bed, but requires slightly more precise placement.

This is how you place the sheet for two sleepers

  1. Place the sheet on the mattress at the torso and legs.
  2. Skip overhang under the mattress or use sheet tensioners.
  3. Connect one Earthle cable to a controlled earthed socket.
  4. If necessary, use one thin cotton fitted sheet on top.
  5. Check on both sides whether the connection remains measurable.

One cable connects the entire surface

The cable does not power the sheet, but connects the conductive grid to ground. The Earthle plug contains a safety resistance of approximately 100 kΩ. A second cable does not make the sheet more powerful; good coverage and reliable contact are more important.

For a double bed, the large sheet is the widest choice. One connection is sufficient when both sleepers touch the conductive surface.

Which Earthle product fits this use

Choose the Earthle Earthing Sheet measuring 203 by 180 centimetres for maximum freedom of movement for two people. Sheet tensioners keep the corners tight when one of you turns a lot.
